Artwork Preparation
For the best results it is important to produce good quality artwork. The better the origination, the better the photo tool, the better the etched parts will be. For some handy pointers on preparing your artwork please see below...

If supplying hardcopy artwork please scale up as an enlargement of 2,3 or 4 times the actual size, this allows for better quality of detail when reducing in size. Also, please note that artwork must be supplied on high quality art board or paper.
If supplying your artwork electronically please note that we accept the following file formats: DXF, DWG, EPS, AI (Abode Illustrator).

The minimum etch line width must be no less than material thickness.
For hardcopy artwork, traditionally the artwork colour guide to etching is black to etch through metal, red for surface etching on the top face and blue for surface etching on the reverse.
Our typical sheet size is up to 305mm x 550mm, however larger sizes can be offered subject to customer requirements, please call for information.
Suitable metals include: Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Nickel Silver, Copper, Brass and Silver. We also offer a wide range of alternative metals. Please call us if you have something specific in mind, or click here for our full range
We offer metal in 0.025mm thick right up to 1.00mm thick in all metal types.
